While we were at GenCon, we had the fortune of meeting these two talented folks, who you might recognize at Satine Phoenix and Stone Jamison of Apotheosis Studios -- D&D royalty, if there ever was one. It just so happens that their newest Kickstarter, for the Red Opera (a rad 5E setting inspired by a heavy metal album centered upon warlocks) launches on the same day our Kickstarter ends -- today!
So we’d like to pass the baton, as it were. If you backed us, consider checking out Red Opera next. You might even see a familiar lich on one of the major arcana.

Home stretch folks! We have a scant two days left in the campaign, so your last chance to pledge and tell your friends about Valda’s Spire of Secrets (and peer pressure your GMs into getting it.) I wanted to take a moment to highlight some common questions and lay out a timeline of the next few days:
If you can’t pledge now, you can support at the $1 tier and grab everything you want on the BackerKit after the campaign is over.
BackerKit will be up by October 4th.
Everything (except the Kickstarter-exclusive slipcase) will be available on the BackerKit..
Digital downloads will be available via BackerKit once it goes up.
We’ll be updating the BackerKit’s PDFs as we run all our books (hardcovers and softcovers) through a final round of editing. We’ll let you know when updates happen, so you have the latest versions!

We’ve been close friends with Hit Point Press for many years, especially the lead writer of The Islands of Sina Una, a fantastic campaign setting that is available NOW on the Hit Point Press store. This setting is a breath of fresh air in the TTRPG space, and is a must-have for those searching for new gaming experiences. Here’s the summary:
The Islands of Sina Una is a new campaign setting for 5th Edition that pulls from precolonial mythology and culture of the Philippines. In the time since Bakunawa's last attack the mortal races that inhabit the island recover slowly as life goes on. While some do battle with the monsters that roam these lands, others work as intermediaries, communicating between spirits and deities to help protect and guide their people. And yet, there are still others who choose to align with the terrible Celestial Eaters, to destroy the moon and bring about the end of all things.
Lastly, I wanted to highlight the latest set of adventures written by Midnight Tower. These sorts of small-team projects are a joy to dip into if you want to support some growing creators. Here’s the blurb:
Secrets of the Drow Trilogy is a book with three dangerous dark elf adventures for the fifth edition of the world’s largest roleplaying game. The adventures are designed for characters of level 4 to 6, but include scalable encounters to suit any level from 1 to 20. Awesome Crossover: Delver's Guide to Beast World

I know we’ve wrapped up all of our stretch goals, but that doesn’t mean the surprises are over! We’re working on an extremely cool crossover with our friends over at Heartleaf Games to bring Valda’s Spire of Secrets to the Beast World (and vice-versa)
We launched on the same day as the Delver’s Guide to Beast World and have admired this book ever since. It has fantastic art and extremely cool rules for battle wagons (you should go check it out!) Anyway, while we were chatting with the main writer, Cullen, we decided to work together to make a compatibility packet! Here’s what it’ll include:
20+ extra pages of book-quality content, complete with art
Cross-over content for using the new classes in Valda's with the teamwork maneuvers from the Delver's Guide.
Species and Homeland features for some of the new races introduced in Valda's, for non-canon games
This packet will be absolutely free, coming 2022. This sort of collaboration is a massive experiment for us in bringing our fellow small-press 3rd party publishers together for cooler, more interconnected products. Raise a glass! This is a truly insane milestone for any project, but especially for a project like ours. We’ve reached our final stretch goal, and all that’s left is a week-long rush to the finish line.
The final stretch goal is a digital supplement of NPCs called Valda’s Illustrious Guestbook. We’re actively crafting it, so I can’t hit you with a final list of the NPCs contained within, but we know we’re doing at least two for each class within Valda’s Spire of Secrets, along with all of the captain’s cohorts as standalone statblocks. We might throw in some fun bonus NPCs if we have the space!
